You Can See It In Their Faces

Sat Nam, Dear Friends,

I have just returned from a spiritual pilgrimage to India in which I served as spiritual teacher and leader for 25 souls who took on a magnificent challenge in order to reap benefits of unknown proportions.

A few returned after two weeks and the majority returned with me to Phoenix, or on to California, only a couple of days ago.

I look at their faces and I see the change in each of them. Standing at the airport, or back home, visiting and talking with each other. The change is enormous. You can see it in their faces – not on their faces like something superficial. It's in their faces, deep inside where the soul sits and smiles. Insights are coming through for each of them. Some are talking, others journaling and blogging. There are insights into themselves, into life and death (they processed both). Insights into love, life force energy, life's priorities, and much more.

We called it the “Masters Yatra” since it began with a core group from those 22 folks who completed the initial levels of Reiki Master training with me over five months this Spring. I chose the name knowing they would think it related to them as masters. On a deeper plane, I knew they needed to walk in the footsteps of truly high spiritual masters of yoga, meditation and faith to help them evolve on their own path of self-mastery.

Those who went on this journey did so representing the whole Reiki Masters group as well as the larger community of Reiki healers and teachers of Kundalini yoga that have been touched by us at The Healing Source. We took all of you with us in our hearts, as well as the hundreds of prayers you sent us to take there for you for blessings. And we felt your prayers supporting us throughout our journey.

Somewhere along this journey, each and every one entered a new life dimension, engaged in a new relationship with their soul's destiny, and released big chunks of karma.

They bowed their heads and souls at a place of immense light, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, and sat chanting with thousands of other souls in the pre-dawn hours there, feeling themselves elevate.

They engaged in a training course delving into the depths of an ancient yogic tradition founded by Guru Nanak and grew in knowledge as well as depth. Then they went to the historic town of Goindwal and took up the challenge that souls rarely can take on in any lifetime - meditating and chanting an ancient prayer on the 84 marble steps leading to a beautiful dipping well. This practice is long known to free the soul of 8.4 million lifetimes. I have been privileged to complete the steps three times, each time with the prayer that I would become a clearer, stronger, more serviceful teacher for others on the spiritual path.

On this stage of our journey together, these 25 souls came with their own intentions. I had told them this would be no cake-walk. They accepted that but I knew the experience would test the caliber of all of them.

It was a long and challenging two days and nights. Several went through the first night without stopping for a rest, though most used the nearby simple guest rooms for a few hours. Several finished late on the second night. For those few who were returning to do this meditative ritual a second or third time for more clearing as well as for those who knew how to pronounce the ancient language well, I asked them to slow their pace to help others who were not so adept in pronouncing the long Jaapji prayer. Many did this, instead of racing ahead to complete for themselves. Their sacrifice of self for others is noted with respect in the Akashic Records. Others when they finished returned to the steps to help support those remaining.

With each step they completed, they dipped in the cool waters below, washing off 100,000 lifetimes. They were cold, shivering, chanting louder or softer at times. Since the outside temperature was not cold, some wondered why they were so cold. Was it the water in the well perhaps? I spoke with several after the process was finished. You see, they were not just releasing lifetimes; with each step they were also releasing 100,000 deaths, and death is always cold. When you process death, death also processes you.

I am asking everyone who went on this journey to write about their experiences, their insights, their feelings. Some may share them publicly like on a blog. Some may only talk privately. But either way be in touch with them so they can share their stories and their inspiration with you. These intrepid souls are a leading edge for many more to venture into such a journey. Congratulate them. Hug them and thank them for their courage. Then please recognize yourself as one of them. Someday that may well become quite real for you.

Over the next few weeks we’ll post photos and a video or two of our journey on our website www.healingsource.com for everyone to enjoy.

Bless you in all ways always!
