Privacy Policy
This policy applies to your use of sites owned by The Healing Source, llc including HealingSource.com, Womanheart.com and any future sites (collectively known as "The Healing Source", "we", or "our"). This policy does not apply to your use of linked sites or other sites that we do not own.
Your Email Address
When you provide us with your email address through our "Contact-Us" page, through subscribing to any of our newsletters or email services, or by other means, The Healing Source or its affiliates will not sell, rent, lease, loan, or share with anyone or any company your email address. When an email address is unsubscribed, it is automatically deleted from the appropriate database(s).
When subscribing to any of our newsletter or email services, we use a "double opt-in" strategy as part of our corporate anti-spam efforts. "Double opt-in" means that a person initially requests a subscription with an email address (the first opt-in), then we send a confirmation email to that address (with an embedded random number) requesting that the email be "Reply"-ed back to us (this is the second opt-in). If the sent email address and random number match the "reply"-ed email address and random number, then that email address is added to our database. If the email with the random number is not forwarded back to us, after a while the initial email address is deleted. "Double opt-in" is currently the best way to assure that an email address is not nefariously added to a "spam mail" list.
A newsletter or email subscriber may unsubscribe at any time. Instructions to do so are at the bottom of all correspondence. Personally Identifiable Information
Any personally identifiable information that we may have about you will not be disclosed to any third party without having received your permission. This information may include but is not limited to your name, email address, phone number, home address, or credit card number. We may request or require personally identifiable information with certain features of our sites such as purchases, subscriptions, discussion groups, requests for feedback, correspondence, and other present and future features.
In these cases we will collect only voluntarily provided information. The information may be used for internal or external marketing and promotional purposes. The Healing Source or its affiliates will not sell, rent, lease, loan, or share with anyone or any company personally identifiable information unless it is required to complete a transaction, such as a purchase from our store. We will, however, release information that is required by law, for example, in the case of a subpoena, search warrant, or court order. Additionally, there may be special cases involving security issues that may make it prudent to release specific information to appropriate party(ies).
Information given out in "public forums" such as chat rooms or discussion boards is not considered "private" information and is not bound by this Privacy Policy. Any personally identifiable information disclosed is at your own peril.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Some information that is non-personally identifiable in nature is automatically collected. This may include but is not limited to the type of computer, browser, operating system, internet service provider, or country. Additionally, information about how our site(s) is/are used is also collected. This helps us to better understand how visitors use our site(s), for example, which are the most popular and least popular areas, which files are downloaded most, and if there are any areas that may have technical problems; and what technologies are being used so that we may better serve our visitors.
We may share aggregate statistical information internally, or externally with third parties, but we will not share personally identifiable information. Some of our advertisers may use ads that solicit or collect user information. We do not permit any advertiser to collect personally identifiable information. We may, and some of our advertisers do, use "cookies" to store information. It is not necessary to for your browser to accept cookies to use our site(s). In some instances, some areas may not work properly.
Third Party Links
Our site(s) may contain links to non-Healing Source web sites, such as those owned/operated by suppliers, advertisers, or other third parties. These sites are not governed by our policies, in fact, their policies may be considerably different. We make every effort to provide only links that are complementary to The Healing Source and its visitors, but we cannot guarantee this due to the rapid-change nature of the internet. You are encouraged to review the policies of any site you visit before providing them with any personally identifiable information.
Your Acceptance Of These Terms
The use of any of The Healing Source's sites requires your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Copyright, Trademark and Disclaimer Notification. Your use of our sites signifies your acceptance of these Policies and Notifications. If you do not accept our Policies and Notifications, then please do not use our sites. Our Policies and Notifications will change from time to time, with out notice. It is your responsibility to remain aware of any changes and how it may affect you.
